Book Summary : Automating SAP A Survey of Automation Opportunities in SAP
In this book we look at a sampling of automation opportunities that exist in the SAP world using standard tools and settings. In this survey automation in the context of SAP refers to the use of any standard SAP tool, program, function, option, or configuration setting that eliminates the need for manually entering information (the use of LSMW programs as an example), or streamlines the analysis process (for example the Electronic Bank Statement). In discussing these alternatives we will divide them into the following categories for convenience: 1. Standard tools 2. Standard processes 3. Configuration options 4. Advanced methods 5. External packages 6. Legacy Systems Migration Workbench.
